Asset disputes

Our asset disputes practice includes:

  • Property ownership and trusts of land
  • Contested probate and inheritance provision claims
  • Shareholder and company disputes
  • Partnership and LLP disputes

We act in disputes of varying size and complexity relating to the ownership of land and the split of individuals’ shares in the property.  These are sometimes known as constructive trust claims.

We also act for executors and for individuals who are beneficiaries or unnamed in a will, defending or making a challenge against an estate.

Our advice on shareholder and company disputes includes acting for and against minorities claiming unfair prejudice and in claims by shareholders and companies where directors’ duties have been breached or the company’s assets misappropriated.

We have equivalent experience and expertise in handling partnership and LLP disputes.

Our specialist in these areas is Ken McEwan.
