Litigation

The Company and Asset Litigation team handles asset disputes relating to the ownership of and rights in land and other assets.  These include commercial matters such as disputes relating to companies, partnerships and LLPs and their property.  They also include advising individuals in personal matters, on which the team works closely with our Family and Estate Planning & Tax departments.

The General Commercial Litigation team handles banking disputes including defending claims by banks and dealing with mis-selling of financial products and claims arising from failed money transfers.  The team also advises on landlord and tenant, professional negligence and general commercial disputes including debt recovery, product liability, contractual claims, insolvency and disputes relating to intellectual property.

The Business Crime and Advocacy team has expertise concerning disqualified directors and business crime and offers advocacy in a wide range of civil and criminal matters.  These include fraud, health and safety at work, environment, food safety, licensing, motoring and road transport matters and inquests.
