Compromise Agreements

We provide advice on compromise agreements to employers and employees.

A compromise agreement is an agreement between the employer and employee that sets out the terms on which an employment arrangement will end.

A compromise agreement will ordinarily provide for a severance payment by the employer, in return for which the employee agrees not to pursue any claims that he or she may have in an employment tribunal.  It is therefore vital that the terms of the compromise agreement are clear and understood.

We have relied on Gregg Latchams for over 18 years now, which in a way speaks for itself. We particularly value their expertise in dealing with contracts and employment matters. Their lawyers have a positive attitude and we know that we can call them at any time and get a well thought out, practical view. Lastly cost effectiveness is crucial for any business and I always think we get excellent value for money.
