Professional Negligence

The department comprises expert professional negligence solicitors who can advise in:

• professional negligence against solicitors
• professional negligence against accountants
• professional negligence against surveyors
• professional negligence against financial advisers.

Such claims are often vigorously opposed by insurance companies on behalf of the defending party and it is therefore important to identify the relevant issues early during the pre-action period and assess the risks and implications of the claim for the client.

We find that the majority of professional negligence claims are as a result of solicitors' negligence but professional negligence claims arise in a wide range of areas, all of which we are able to advise on.

A lot of professional negligence claims can be taken on a no win no fee basis subject to the strength of the claim and we will be happy to consider any claim on a no win no fee basis.

Our Bristol based professional negligence lawyers are members of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association (PNLA) and can advise on all aspects of professional negligence and the possibility of no win no fee claims.
