Gregg Latchams joins Tech South West

Gregg Latchams has become one of the first company members of Tech South West, an organisation that has been set up to celebrate and showcase the South West’s fast growing tech sector.

Our Digital Media & Technology team has attended initial consultation events held by Tech South West in Bristol and Exeter, to discuss what the organisation’s objectives should be and how it should function. Following those events, Tech South West published the Tech Southwest Report 2017/18, which summarises its objectives over the next 12 months.

Ed Boal, who heads up our tech sector, commented:

“One of the issues that regularly comes up in the course of industry events and roundtable discussions that we attend, is how the South West is not very good at celebrating its many individual and collective successes in the tech sector – though this is certainly changing with awards ceremonies such as the¬†Sparkies and the EDGE Awards which we sponsored last year. The benefits of doing so are clear, not least attracting investment and talent to the region. Tech South West wants to tackle this issue head on, and promote the South West as a global leader in the tech sector. We are pleased to support them in doing so.”
