We are overjoyed to have been named as ‘Community Engagement Law Firm of the Year’ at this year’s Bristol Law Society Awards.
Winning ‘Community Engagement Law Firm of the Year’ reflects the extensive hard work of the business in supporting charities that provide assistance to some of the most vulnerable communities in Bristol. These charitable initiatives include; Julian House, North Bristol Foodbank, Missing Link and Feeding Bristol.
Our most recent community initiative has been with Feeding Bristol, a charity which helps to fight the major issue of food insecurity in Bristol.
The organisation recently announced the impact of its 2019 Healthy Holidays campaign, through which an incredible 53,000 meals were supported across the city during this six-week holiday, for families who rely on free school meals during term time.
We are proud to be one of 13 Bristol law firms to have supported the project, which is testament to the huge contribution our sector makes to local causes.
Commenting on our support of the organization, Andy Street, chair of trustees at Feeding Bristol, said: “We are delighted that Gregg Latchams chose Feeding Bristol as its local charity for the next two years.
“Achieving food security in Bristol for the young and for other vulnerable groups in the city relies heavily on the support of local businesses like Gregg Latchams.”
When asked about the award win, Ewen Macgregor said: “We are thrilled that Gregg Latchams’ significant support of community initiatives has been recognized by the Bristol Law Society with this award.
“We are fully committed to investing our time and resource into causes that make a real different to the city, as charities like Feeding Bristol truly rely on such contributions to carry out their amazing work.”
