The prestigious Crumbs Awards 2019 are nearly upon us! These awards celebrate the very best in food and hospitality in Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.

The Crumbs Awards is brought to life by the Crumbs Magazine, a publication committed to raising awareness of the region’s buzzing food and drink culture. In the run up to the awards, we will be sitting down with the finalists of our sponsored category to find out a little more about them.
This week we sat down with Luscious Organics
When did you start your business?
We started trading in September 2017 and it’s been growing ever since.
What does this award mean to you?
It’s a wonderful tribute to be recognised by the judges for the hard work and dedication that goes into making Luscious products.
Have you been part of the Crumbs awards before?
Yes, we were lucky enough to be the winners in this category last year! It would be amazing if we could win it two years in a row.
What is a general day like at Luscious?
On the farm, we collect the milk from the Jersey cows and make our ice cream fresh the same day.
We make the ice cream mix and leave it to ‘age’ for a few hours, then churn it in a batch freezer and pot it after hand labelling our pots and lids. We’re very busy every day but we love what we do and that’s why it’s never a dull day!
What is your favourite thing about your job?
Finding new customers and spreading the word about organic food and farming. As well as our many lovely local customers, we are also in Selfridges, Planet Organic and Daylesford – and we’re delighted to have just launched in Harrods which has been a dream of ours for so long.
