“I find their performance and service very satisfactory and I like the continuity of contact with partners I know and trust. They provide excellent client service. They know their stuff and have the ability to explain it in a way that the layman can understand.”

“My questions and wishes were answered and done so in a very prompt and efficient manner, I would recommend Gregg Latchams very highly. They listened to my requirements and gave good useful comments and advice. Not in any way pushy. All my queries were answered clearly and quickly. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Approachable, professional and personable.”

“We found the service very prompt, efficient, accessible and friendly. We always felt we could ask for clarification and were given very helpful advice over difficult decisions.”

Lasting Powers of Attorney

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) are the perfect solution if you are worried about not being able to manage your financial affairs in future, or if you want to appoint someone to make healthcare decisions on your behalf in the event of incapacity.

Without an LPA, no one has legal authority to deal with any financial or business matters or make any decisions on your behalf. Our services enable you to avoid difficult matters such as ‘freezing’ of your assets, costly and time consuming applications to the Court of Protection and the possibility of your assets being dealt with by someone unknown to you.

There are two types of LPA, covering property and financial matters and health and welfare decisions, and our specialist, experienced solicitors can give you clear and impartial guidance about your options. This includes who to appoint to act on your behalf, so that you have peace of mind that those making decisions are people you trust.

Our fully flexible service package means we can handle every stage of the process of preparing and registering the documents, so that your LPAs are valid and ready for use should the time come, avoiding delays and financial difficulties in future.

We offer:

  • Clear, impartial advice on your options from specialist solicitors
  • A flexible service with fixed fees for each stage of the LPA process
  • Assistance to attorneys appointed under an LPA in carrying out their duties
  • Assistance with general Powers of Attorney
