Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) are the perfect solution if you are worried about not being able to manage your financial affairs in future, or if you want to appoint someone to make healthcare decisions on your behalf in the event of incapacity.
Without an LPA, no one has legal authority to deal with any financial or business matters or make any decisions on your behalf. Our services enable you to avoid difficult matters such as ‘freezing’ of your assets, costly and time consuming applications to the Court of Protection and the possibility of your assets being dealt with by someone unknown to you.
There are two types of LPA, covering property and financial matters and health and welfare decisions, and our specialist, experienced solicitors can give you clear and impartial guidance about your options. This includes who to appoint to act on your behalf, so that you have peace of mind that those making decisions are people you trust.
Our fully flexible service package means we can handle every stage of the process of preparing and registering the documents, so that your LPAs are valid and ready for use should the time come, avoiding delays and financial difficulties in future.
Take a look at our LPA Questionaire to learn more about our process and fee structure, and to take the first steps towards preparing an LPA.
